Was it 1987 they played loads of games away first too? Paul Walsh and Arsenal and something are coming to mind.

Koeman would be great appointment in so many ways. Media has been banging that Koeman aint moving cause he wouldnt take a "back/sidewaystep" to Everton and he's waiting for Arsenal....even Barca job....ok, at that point even the most superficial fans should wake up and pull the plug out off their bum hole.

It would be awesome display of Moshiris /Evertons drawing power to sign Koeman now.

Koeman would be great appointment in so many ways. Think Koeman would be underwhelming, personally. The one thing that impresses me is Southampton's record against the top clubs in the league last season. That said, the league was pretty horrible.

Koeman might be able to stabilize us and maybe even get us competing for a Europa League spot, but I wouldn't go so far as to consider him an ambitious signing.
