Lets not press the panic button on the lad just yet, 4 games into the season one of which he got some minutes, quality always shines through and this lad has more quality potential then anyone on our books, its when not if.

Well now we really lack squad depth.

That said this will surely be a short term loan with a recall option? No lose situation if so.

I wouldn't complain if he went for 3 months. It would do him the world of good and he would probably start most games for them.

Fingers crossed he can show Moyes up.

Hmm, Moyes knows what he can do and Barkley will be doing it for his own career, he needs proper games for him to grow, just cos you have expected him to be like Rooney at the tender age of 18, Barkley will grow into a fine player.

I could understand this loan if Ofoe had be signed on loan with the view to buy , but that has fell through -Barckley was good enough to start last season oh, but he gave a pen away at Blackburn & banished from the squad - he played ok in the league cup when appearing - PN will be the death knoll of our promising start if he is left in midfield be warned!

I just can't take ur point seriously when u can't even spell the name correctly of a player u seem to know more about than the management team at finch farm!

Barkley!! Ffs it's not like it's a foreign Russian name....

Not expecting him to be Rooney. Just expecting to play at least some of the time with Everton's first team. But Moyes seems dead-set on never playing him until he reaches some certain point. But how can he keep on developing in reserve grade?

I don't see why you have to send players out on loan for them to develop. FFS Barkley was our MOTM in a game last season (yes, we lost it, but you know what I mean), he is easily good enough for the top level.
