Yeah.. I mean exactly like that.

He said it two months ago. Nothing has changed. Players shouldn't have to come out and declare how they feel every time there's a rumour. No player in the world does that.

Do you think when he signed that contract that he didn't know other clubs might be sniffing around him? Him and his agents aren't stupid, they knew their options and chose to stay at Everton for the long term.

Source? Nah, didn't think you had a credible one.

Moyes confirmed that the Arteta money went to the bank, and it was quite clear that he was the biggest sale within a fire sale that saw a good few other players sold that Summer due to the bank calling in our overdraft. Our circumstances were similar when Rooney was sold too, you are naive if you think otherwise.

With Lescott, you are right we didn't want to sell, and we held all the cards when it came to the sale of Fellaini, and Kenwright played a blinder.

RIP Ross.

lol

Either we'll sell him or he'll be nowhere near as good as his potential. There's no alternative.

Nah.

Throughout season 2009/2010: Baines is deffo going to Man Utd you know.
Summer 2010: Baines stays.

If you don't learn from history you stay ignorant.

Utterly tedious negative tabloid anti-Everton garbage. That isn't true.

Close thread.

Yes, but Moyes could have chose to sell Jags, Heitinga and Baines instead. Like I said, the manager is told what the budget is, and it's up to him to manage us. That's why Roy Keane referred to us as a proper football club. The manager is truly the gaffer, and believe it or not, it's serving us well that strategy.
