It appears as though he bleeds blue blood and I'm not sure he would want to move to another club anytime soon

Just breaking into the top 4 would be an achievement in itself mate, Football is dominated by teams with money, We don't have any, Obviously we could win a FA cup or League cup but would that honestly be enough for the lad further down the road

Like I said, I am sure he will want to play in the CL on a regular basis in the future, Can we provide that? I doubt it

I reckon we have a incredibly boss young side that will be achieving things like top 4/trophies in the not too distant future...if we keep it together. I think the players know we are building something pretty boss...including Ross.

Hopefully mate.rooney looks like hes on the verge of depression despite his money. I doubt he was ever happier than when he was a free spirit scoring all them goals at euro 2004 and playing for the club he loved
 

I actually think winning a trophy could do more harm than good in terms of trying to keep ross. If he wins the FA cup this season in 5 years time will he have the same drive and desire to win another under everton compared to his hunger to actually aim to win it. For me he would see it as he's "won all he possibly can" at us rather than the desire to win a 2nd or 3rd and instead aim at a club in the CL.

The fantasy is always better than the reality they say.

If you think we are going to break into a top 4 that has Chelsea/City/Arsenal/Utd/Liverpool fighting it out then good for you

I am sure he would rather dream about lifting the FA cup in front of thousands of blues than actually doing it
