Ross Barkley

I want to see him more as much as anyone but I will go with moyes knows what he's doing. I think moyes wants to make sure were in a safe possition with the pressure off his young shoulders before more game time. From what Iv seen for his obvious talent tactically and positionally wise he's miles off yet!

He'll be our hero next year in hopefully a fresher looking team playing better football with more coincidence.

Moyes knew what he was doing taking Saha off at the Emitates and replacing him with Distin which put us immediately under pressure and Arsenal scored just after , he knew what he was doing when looking after Wayne Rooney in the same fashion , next you'll be telling me Rooney never said to my face he couldn't stand Moyes and he played him out of position all the time, going on to fall out with him and still to this day claims that's why he wanted out, he's done a good job at Everton results wise as Moyes but he's not always right and the way he substituted a 17 year old who'd been by far our stand out player after 3 games against Blackburn straight after giving away a penalty was not only wrong but disgraceful man management , Moyes is a motivator but tactically clueless

Damon I'll probably get told off or some sort of infraction for this but you are really the most narrow minded, stubborn and stupid bell I've ever come across. You're the only tit on this entire forum. Thanks.

Can I have an answer to my very valid question please.

Why is Ross Barkley not playing a SINGLE minute for the first team?

Oh Dave, you're a card.
No, Phil you are

the kid is head and shoulders above everyone in training ,seen it with my own eyes half a dozen, times ,gtf ,not ready yet ,and you trust moyes ,i would not trust him with me mar in law

Your MIL is a bit of a goer though mate.

I'm not saying he is not good enough, but is he ready for 90 mins week in week out - obviously Moyes doesn't think he is and why would you doubt it. What agenda could he have? I am not a DM lover or hater, but I would trust him with this.

How long would it be before he went through a rough patch and then people started getting on his back. We have seen it with Hibbert, Osman, Big Vic and more recently Rodwell. We always seem to be harder on our own.

Against QPR he was head and shoulders above any of our players and I am shocked that he hasn't played more, looking forward to seeing him play more as the season goes on.

Quite right. David Moyes has said and implied how much he rates Ross Barkley. You could tell he couldn't contain his admiration for him. When asked - why did he say of anyone at Everton that Barkley was the one to watch.

Therefore you've got to consider that Moyes has much more of an eye on Barkley's entire career. Therefore is resisting the temptation to throw him in.

Can no one comprehend that some people would like to see something in between him never playing and him playing every minute of every game?

Jesus Christ.

Unlucky there then. We're getting Ivan Campo on loan as cover for Rodwell, Fellaini, Heitinga, Osman, Cahill and Neville because Barkley's not ready yet.

anichebe ,will never in a million years be ready to play 90 mins week in week out but he will pick him ,the mar in law thinks shes mae west ,i think shes more like gordon west
