Ross Barkley

He's been badly handled by Martinez all season. I think he's played in the wrong role with the wrong players around him. Another season like this will be extremely damaging for the lad. I hope for his and our sake it all gets sorted out.

This!!

Martinez goes on about he'll learn from this season!? BS he will. I'd be fuming if I were him. The way martinez has handled him this season has been a joke and done him very little good whatsoever! He's put him back 12 months.

Handles badly by Moyes, handled badly by Bobby, i love Ross but are we not just making excuses ??

Its hardly a common excuse ised in football is it ??!! Can it not be that he has been crap, and we expect too much??

I have heard other fans say he played well when Blues have destroyed him!!

Players playing poorly around him, when he's needed experienced players to help him develop they've been missing, cannot understand why he's been the whipping boy this season, he is learning still, poor llay by some supporters tbh.

Him with a Mata or Fabregas with him would make him shine, only Lukaku and Mirallas think as fast as him, ahead of tge rest. Same thing happened to Tony Grant, only Kanchelskis played at the same speed of thought for him.

He'll definitely come good, perhaps not here, but he is definitely some footballer

Pretty much sums it up that.Plays well with McCarthy tho.
Thought his best game was QPR at home alongside Mo as well.

Had to fix that.....memory's not the same .....I blame this season.

It was alongside Besic who was also excellent in that game. The pair worked brilliantly together. They ran the whole show.

I know it was only QPR but it was far and away our best performance of the season.

These words will bite you on the arse, he IS everything we think he is, he showed it last season.

It is a very big arse so he better have a snake like jaw structure !

Everyone thinking he is the next prodigy have gone way too far with it, comparisons to Gazza and Rooney in terms of potential are not justified in my opinion. He has shown touches of class but no were near the level of Wayne or Gerrard. In terms of his position he is alongside the likes of David Silva, Juan Mata, Santi Cazorla and Fabregas - sorry mate he is no were near their level.

He is young and has time on his side, but he needs to show everything he has in his locker next season, potential only gets you so far.
Guess what Mout ? I hope your right because we would have one hell of a player IF he can showcase his potential.

Arsenal away and home derby last season. Both newcastle games he was also very good.

But that first half against Arsenal he was dominating the entire midfield - Wenger had to make 3 subs at half time iirc to control him. Even neutrals were impressed

Any more than 4 games in two years being first choice C.A.M. ? When the going is good he looks good but when it gets tough he vanishes, i really want him to succeed but i just dont think he will be one of the worlds best like everyone hypes him up to be.

Prove me wrong Rossy baby.

Sturridge is miles ahead of Ings, Austin and Berahino. Not his fault he's spent 5 months out injured. 4 goals in 7 starts isn't a poor record either.

Rather than count his starts, how about counting his sub appearances too ? For the record i think Sturridge and Rooney are the best picks for english forwards and two of the best in the league.
