.....I noticed a throwaway comment from Stan Colleymore in the January transfer window. Doing that programme on the last few hours of the window he highlighted instances of young talent going to City on mega salaries only for their careers to stall. He then mentioned Barkley and a £30m deal as if it was done. He's clearly ITK and it was probably me wrongly picking up on a comment but it did stick in my mind.

Stan Collymore is not ITK.
Hes a clueless moron who I would imagine is despised as much by people involved within the game as he is by people out the game.
.....he appears to have his contacts within clubs, probably just me putting 2 and 2 together and making 5.
The lad Mason at Spurs has been miles better than Barkley this season - as has, dare I say, Shelvey.
He has been more consistent, sure. But Ryan Mason has nowhere near the potential that Ross has. I certainly wouldn't trade Barkley for Mason.
Because hes not disciplined enough against decent teams, and he bottles a lot of challengesI really think if we'd played Barkley as a centre mid in the home games against mid table teams then we'd be looking at around 10 more points now.
I can't understand why we've started so many of those type of games with two defensive mids. Far too negative and completely ruined Ross' second season.
He didn't when he played CM against QPR at home earlier this season. Him and Besic got stuck in and won plenty of tackles and Ross ran that game.Because hes not disciplined enough against decent teams, and he bottles a lot of challenges
