People are probably just worried that he'll be a JPK, Baxter type player who promised so much and didn't quite deliver.
From what I've seen of the lad though, I like what I've seen. He could do with improving his work rate though, as that's the main attribute that Moyes seems to look for in a player. I think that he could slot in at AM now though if I'm being honest and hope that his absence from the first team hasn't stunted his growth/ damaged his confidence.

Can't see why people are writing him off so soon. Perhaps a defence mechanism to avoid possible disappointment. I do the same with Derbies. Always expect us to lose so I'm not too hurt when we do.

Depending on how bad Felli's injury is and how long he'll be out for, i think we'll keep him amongst the squad for now to make up the numbers and possibly play a part, and then when Felli is fit, and IF we sign Hitzlsperger on a short term deal, send him back out on loan again.
In the cameos in the early part of last season showed me he's got enough about him to be a very good player and loan spells atm are what he needs to nurture his obvious talents. IMHO, i dont think a month out of the club to Sheff Wed is enough though, needs longer really.
Got to agree. I'm still with tubey that he should have gone to a better team than Sheff Wed, though.

Am I right in thinking that as he's played for us this season, albeit as a sub, he now could only go back to Sheffield Wednesday on loan, not anyone else?
I think we tried to send Vaughan to Celtic the other year after being on loan at Palace, but because he played like 5 minutes for us as a sub he wasn't allowed as you can't play for 3 teams in a season?
