Did well today apart from one mistake which wouldn't have looked half as bad if we weren't looking for the equaliser. Wanted the ball, strong on the ball and played it simply and effectively.

He gave the ball away almost every time he got it. Hit a strong shot wide. Looked out of his depth compared to Velios and Oviedo, both of whom looked confident. That is all.

Jesus guys! Give the lad a chance, no one could have come into this game in midfield and taken control of the game. He is still so young, I don't care if he is naive, he will only loose that when he plays more regularly. Should start the game against Newcastle, as should Oviedo, Vellios and Duffy. We need to rotate the squad a bit, to prevent burn out.

I'm all for giving him a chance - and I'm very hopeful he will establish himself as a top quality player. The fact remains, in the 12 minutes he had against Chelsea today, he managed to wring two or three massive groans out of the crowd with his sloppy play. That is all.

Its not having a go, its seeing hes got talent and knowing hes not going to develop on the bench or playing reserves.

He needs games. He needs to go out on loan again.

Barkley's not good enough to start a Prem game. Duffy isn't quite ready yet. I agree Oviedo and Vellios could do a job for us. And agree with the general point what we should rotate a bit more to prevent the tiredness we saw today.

Those People should stop expecting so much from him. If he is this talent that everybody seems to think he is he`ll progress naturally into a top player. Bringing him on for the last 15 mins against chelsea whilst chasing the game is gonna be tough for anyone.I trust David Moyes on this.
