That post doesn't even make sense...

How is Moyes starting him, or Barkley not starting, relevant to his performance ?

A lot of people thought that Rodwell was going to be ace as a result of that United goal, and i've often seen questions like 'where did it go wrong after THAT goal' asked on here. The point is that QPR was just one game over a year ago. Whether you like it or not, seeing a player every week in training gives you more authority to decide whether a player is ready or not than a few sub appearances and one impressive performance against QPR.

The lad is 19 years old. The injury he suffered not so long ago practically set his development back a year. He's way younger than most 'young' Premier League players.

So your saying he isnt ready to come on at 4-1 against a league 2 side with the game well and truely won?.

At 4-1 he should of been coming on for me definitely. I'd of brought him on before Gueye!. Tbh, at 4-1 i'd of brought on either Duffy, Barkley and/or Vellios on instead of the likes of Naismith & Hitzlsperger!.

If i was Barkley i'd seriously have a chat with Moyesy and ask him if he could be loaned out to try and get games cos he aint gonna get em here im afraid. Same with Duffy really, and even Vellios, they should all get out for games IF possible?!.

The "not ready" argument is completely bonkers. We were playing Cheltenham. He came on for 10 minutes against Chelsea, but he's not ready for half an hour against Cheltenham?

Erm... He'd still be on loan if it weren't for injuries.

TBH i'm not even sure of the value in bringing him on against a League 2 side. What would he have learnt that would aid his Premier League development ?

Barkley was only ever brought back as back up when we had injury worries, Moyes himself even said that he wants him to go out on loan.

No mate. Brennans seen him in training. A few times not ready to face cheltenham yet.

Naismith and Hitzlsperger are first team players who need time on the picth, we will need them in the upcoming weeks, not in the future like we will with the others.

Why should he be brought on before Gueye? Why is one kid worthy of getting a game for the sake of his future and another not worthy? Because Gueye is **** right? Well based on recent fleeting performances so is Barkley (hes not I know...)
