maybe, but those 10 mins he showed his age big time. It wasnt 1 or 2 mispalced passes. it was constant poor decisions and like I said he showed his immaturity there. Also central midfield is the hardest position to trust young players in. Its much easier to be a wide man or striker and make mistakes

At the time he was brought on, we were playing three, arguably four strikers, and he was introduced to mix things up and make something happen. He dropped into space, won two key tackles when tracking back and had a shot at goal.

He didn't make "constant poor decisions" either. He gave away possession twice - once in the middle after receiving a hospital pass, and the other was on the right edge of the penalty box when nobody dropped off to give him a pass and he got caught dwelling on the ball.

Again, myths. I've seen him in person play 90 minutes of football for Everton and on Sky for Wednesday. He occasionally gets caught in possession but no more than anyone else (including the player he replaced in the Chelsea game) and his pass completion is very good.

In the hope that 1 day you can sell it to Barnsley.

I'm still judging him on his performance against QPR last season: absolutely outstanding. Thought he did well against stoke too, and obviously had a mare against Chelsea (albeit for 10 minutes). Ultimately it's moyes who see's him day in day out so he knows what's best. I think it's been mentioned a few times that he has a confidence problem? Maybe this falls into the equation....
