He then played against QPR? He was that good match of the day took time to show what he did in the game and what a bright future he had. They don't do that for every 17 year old.

Regarding Warnock. Do your homework. Warnock wanted a Right sided midfielder, he brought Ross in to play there,found out he wasn't the winger he was after and decided he needed to free up Ross's position to get another loanee in who was a winger. He was never loaned to play his natural position. Therefor Warnock is a cart . He did however say that there was no doubt that Ross will go on to play for Emgland one day.

He is the best thing come through our academy since Rooney. No doubt, no hesitation saying that. If anything his progress has gone backwards because of all the messing about. Ffs Moyes just give him a few minutes!

Man, you need to get over the fact that he once had a good game in a pre-season friendly, and that he once played well against a newly promoted QPR side. Saying he is brilliant based on those two games is every bit as stupid as the people who say he won't make it based on the numerous mistakes he has made as an inexperienced teenager playing in one of the best leagues in the world.

I can remember Danny Cadamateri skinning the Liverpool defence with ease before banging in an 18 yarder, but he turned out to be crap! I can remember Michael Branch being lauded as the next Robbie Fowler, but he turned out to be even worse than Cadamateri. It happens at other clubs too, I'm nowhere near convinced that all this hype surrounding Sterling at the RS is close to being remotely justified, although I'd say he has shown more than Barkley so far.

The fact that you think he put in some kind of noteworthy performance at Stoke should give people an indication of where you are at with this one. You're blinded by the hype, and you'd make out he was a wonderkid if he took a decent throw-in. He isn't ready yet, and there's absolutely nothing wrong in that!

Rope&Glass was being sarcastic.

Has he really played 50 minutes? You would have thought it was -180 minutes somehow.

He made 9 competitive (not international) appearances last season. He's made 20 this season (so far). He's 19. I'm just not that outraged.

He looked more than comfortable against stoke. Never looked one bit out of place. Comparing him to Cadamarteri and Branch should convince people where you are with this. Way, way off the mark! I'm not saying he's ready to take on the world. I'm Saying he should be comfortably be pushing Gibson and Osman for a starting position, 2 years after he made those appearances. Much better than you'll ever be convinced at present.

I dont have a stance, ive yet to see him play for any length of time.

Untill I do, hes a young prospect, where as your basing your viewpoint on 15minutes against QPR.
 
Anyway, hes currently playing for the U21 who are 1-0 down to Blackburn.

Ah, so you wernt at that game. When he played a full 90mins and got Radio City MOM and 5mins or so on match of the day, praising him.
