I have got nothing against the lad and wish him all the best in a blue shirt but I don,t think he is going make it.

Not being funny mate but anyone who can recognise talent couldn't possibly make that statement. His ability is clear and is only going to get better with games And experience. You never lose natural ability which he has in abundance. It's just a matter of time till it all comes together.

There's no question IMO if he'll make it, the only question is how good he can be. Good player vs brilliant vs world class.
 
He looked brilliant on Sunday, such finesse & drive, I can see why people liken him to Gerrard.

I can't TBH. Gerrard drives forward with the ball from deep, Barkley likes/tends to pick the ball up further forward and turn to face opponents.

Only similarity, is the city they play in, and they play for their respective teams. Barkley is like Barkley, an incredible talented individual, with great technique and a rapidly expanding knowledge of the game, and as much as I hate to say it, there are few players that will replicate at their clubs, what Gerrard has done at Liverpool.

Yeah I saw a couple like, I also saw him put in a stupid challenge within 10 minutes that would have him sent off in the Premier League and lose the ball a good few times in dangerous positions, one of which nearly cost a goal. Didn't you see any of that?
