A struggling prem club who are fighting for survival would've been the best destination, would show him the meaning of scrapping for every ball, tenacity, and the importance of putting yourself about and on the line for the team. Norwich, for example, who I think will really struggle this year with Lambert leaving.

Poor deflection.

I'd say personal insults are a sign you've completely lost the discussion but OK, let's try again.

Name one world class technically gifted player who benefited from loan time in the lower leagues during a key stage in their development.

NOT Beckham. That was nearly twenty years ago and it was five games with Preston. Hardly make or break experience.

With who?

Preferably with a good example in the modern era involving a technically gifted player with the ball at feet - not Beckham in 1995.

Man Utd: Tom Cleverley - Leicester loan 15 games, Watford loan 33 games, Wigan loan 25 games.

Chelsea: Ryan Bertrand - Bournemouth loan 5 games, Oldham loan 21 games, Norwich loan 56 games, Reading loan 44 games, Notts Forest loan 19 games. Bertrand then made his debut in the CL Final this year, and scored against Man City last week in the Charity Shield. He is still only aged 23. He is the perfect example of what a loan can do for a player.

UTD

Cleverley to Wigan
The Brazilian twin to QPR
Arse

Wilshere from Arse to Bolton?
Ramsey to Cardiff?

Chelsea

lukaku to WBA

John Terry.

Walker isn't remotely world class but the way Spuyrs handled him was nearly perfect. They loaned him out to two lower league teams straight away and then once he'd had a year down there to a struggling premier league team and then once he was ready they bought him straight into the first team so he'd played non stop regular first team football. And he was probably the stand out right back in the league last year.

I'd say you taking exception to someone accusing you of acting like a child is akin to you.erm.. acting like a child.

Anyway, are you implying that Barkley is a World class talent?
