Jesus what's set you off this time, you old grump?

I think chico's trying to reinvent himself mate.

Previously he was known far and wide as the biggest weapon on this fine site, but since the great GOT tit rush of 2012 he's being outshined by hardcore melts left, right and centre.

Now he's trying to take a piece of the cold, collected cynical market. He's no DaveK though.

I look at our cm players and all work socks off,if Ross is as good as most say on here, then more graft nd he will get chance.

How can you guys post in one thread about how flair players get flattened in greece and it's a bad envronment for them to develop and in another, at the same time, post about how excited you are that we're signing kev?

If you had to make a decision on which club he should join, who would u pick and why, Most of us agree he needs to play everyweek and he will learn alot, its done wonders for Beckham.

One game. Moyes sees him in training every day. I've seen him for the Reserves numerous times since, when you'd expect him to step up and take the game by the scruff of the neck if he was '1st team ready'. He didn't. He needs week in, week out regular 90 minute football, and when he gets that he will come on leaps and bounds.

But he won't get that at Everton at the moment, nor should he because there are more experienced players ahead of him. We can't afford to have a kid making mistakes for us and costing us games.

The problem with this argument is that it's basically saying "Moyes is the manager so he is infallible".

Which in turn means all fan opinions that aren't supportive of Moyes' decisions are null and void, and it implies Moyes gets nothing wrong.

I do believe Artetafan made this exact point the other day but I wanted to reiterate it. No point in a discussion forum if the only discussion is why Moyes is right all of the time.

Yep that massive experience of five games for Preston made his career alright. You're spot on there. ;)

In all seriousness, the Beckham/Preston example of youth development has to be one of the most overhyped things in his career.
