Ross Barkley

It's just the start. The good word is that Begiristain has called Barkley his "legacy" signing at City and has expressed to Khaldoon that whatever the cost is, he will be worth it. I suspect it'll happen next summer rather than this, unless Monaco sell Rodriquez this. If they do then they'll move for Yaya and everything will accelerate.

City will be back to being a nothing club before Barkley is 30, no chance he is joining your lot I'm afraid.

You're City's version of the Swiss Sherman who's the font of all knowledge (with the aid of Google) on Barca.

Patronising beyond belief

What's with all the insecurity? If people want to give it out about what City are and what they aren't then i'm entitled to reply in kind. Unless you think I should just stick my arse out and let you all spank it one at a time because it makes you angry that I have come to your corner of the internet.

everton need to pull there fingers out and get stones and barkley to extend there deals, worries me that we must be negotiating and yet theres no news, coleman signed so why the delay with these 2, untill they commit there futures these stories will constantly appear, and im sure the board will do there utmost to offer them something mediocre and do what they did with rooney and force them to leave, and then blame the players as they are counting their millions and taking us for mugs again, sorry for being sceptical but when weve got a board of leeches can you blame me.

Really? Awesome. £200m please. That'll pay for a shiny new stadium.

Haha. Thanks but no thanks.

Anyway good to see Toure putting an end to the speculation. Now all you need is for the boy Barkley to sign a new contract and we can all move on, for this window at least.
Stop being so condescending, you'll never be Everton. Keep trying tho x

Do you actually have some thing back up your truly bizarre and wild assertion that this City team has peaked? In terms of age, our best players are only just coming into their peak. Silva, Nasri, Aguero, Dzeko, Kompany, Zabaleta, Fernandinho, Kolarov, Clichy, Fernando. All under 30. If anything we're going to get better next season as the players will be a year more experienced in the way Pellegrini wants them to play, and the additions of Fernando, Sagna, and potentially Mangala will strengthen us. It's funny, last summer I remember reading very similar things from those desperate for City to fail. People mocked Pellegrini, said now that Mourinho was back City were never going to win the league again etc. The Mourinho Myth in full effect.

How do you propose Platini will go after City but not go after PSG? D'you think City is run by a bunch of incompetent shrinking violets? Maybe a have a watch of this. You might learn something not just about football finance, but about City's business model and why when you guys make statements about the decline of City you're so far wide of the mark it's not even funny.

Sorry I didn't even think I was saying something that you would take issue with. Ageuro was crocked all second half of last season and in the World Cup. Even you must admit he hasn't looked right in a long time and that must worry the hell out of you.

This City team has peaked and Arsenal and Chelsea will definitely finish above you so it will between yourselves, Liverpool and Utd for the final 2 CL places and that isn't even considering us or Spurs. I think it's at least as possibility you won't get Top 4. I thought Utd wouldn't last season before the season begun and lets just say even if in their worst fears there wasn't too many of their fans who thought they wouldn't.

Platini might hold PSG to different standard because a) they're not English b) They're French like him and c) They're the biggest club in France and a much bigger club (before the money was put in) than City.

However he will go after your club.
Can we keep on the topic of Ross Barkley lads, rather than discuss Man City?

Cheers

You do realise this is an Everton forum don't you mate?

You've been getting some barbed comments due to the patronising tone of your posts, so you are merely reaping what you have sown
