His "value" might not be as high as their value, but if his output is similar we should take into account how valuable he is to us.

Gylfi for example might have better stats but his stats rely on his set pieces, and we've seen countless times over the years where players suddenly can't take free kicks/corners as well as they used to. Baines being one.

It's a simple case of the grass isn't always greener and that's for both the club and the player.

And I don't rate Coutinho as world class, but Coutinho is miles better on his day than Barkley currently is, and there's not a huge gulf between them in terms of age.

Lukaku has made it clear he won't sign a new deal. Koeman has reiterated many times that his is still our player and has 2 years left on his deal. We've leaked that we want a record fee if Rom is to leave. The situation is clear.

With Barkley, it isn't.

Ross has one year left on his deal. We need a decision from him before the end of the season as - obviously - having to sell one of our key players will change things. We can't have him dallying on a new deal and leaving us in August. We need to know now so if he wants to go, we sell early in the window.

Anyway, it's pure speculation. He may simply want a bit more money (whatever) than the club are offering. Who knows?

Don't jump to conclusions and look to point fingers.

IF he wants to go, then he will be sold. If he wants to stay, then he'll sign. It's simple.

He or his agent need to show the club some respect and decide immediately. Ronald wants to start building for next season as soon as possible
