Ron is the only lad at the club who's won 'out or done 'out. I'll trust him over bottle jobs and bluffers.
With respect Dave, that's nonsense.
Suggesting that the board, in effect, go behind the managers back is ridiculous.
Whether you like it or not, and you patently don't and that's a position you're entitled to take, Koeman is the manager and if he feels the current offer is fair/good enough and the player chooses not to sign it then the club is surely undermining the manager if they do as you suggest.
How many of the board have played professional football and actually managed teams - None.
Koeman played, spectacularly, and has managed.
The board have to trust the manager and the DoF, they're only 12 months into their respective contracts and have achieved an improvement.
Granted, there's still a lot of hard, hard work to be done and a long, long way still to go before we can claim to 'back among the big boys' but, we have made the first tentative steps along the road.

Ashley Williams has a League Cup medal I think. (Prob a Div 2/3 one as well for all I know).
Which kind of backs you up really.
Oh, Barry. Must have a few, surely.
Which again.....
Rom has got an FA Cup and a Belgian title under his belt.
Cant we go back to talking about cars and bird songs?
*gonna confuse a few that. soz*
