Fact is he's to much of a bottler to fight for his place, he can't for one min fathom sitting on the bench at his boyhood club so he's going to jump ship

With respect, we don't know how it has been handled by the club behind the scenes. We don't know when he was offered a contract, we don't know how much, we don't know if he has responded, we don't know if his agent has been reasonable or a numpty, we don't know if another club has turned his head.
We do know he is entering tge last year of his contract. We also know the manager gave him an ultimatum and the deadline has passed, which does not exactly look promising.
The silence may mean negotiations are ongoing, or it may mean they are over and he is finding s club. WE DON'T KNOW, and that is a sensible position from the club. Go public when whatever is happening gets done.
 
As far as we know Rom and Ross could already have been done deals in terms or leaving

I think we won't announce until we have replaced them. Otherwise if we announce now then all clubs know we will have loads of money and will hold us to ransom when we look to buy

With respect he was given an ultimatum before the season ended, agree with most of your post though!
 
Just spoke to well known source at the club, got nothing back.

Right this one is strange that people think there are deals done already for both of them. If that's the case why have none of the media been given wind of it nor the ITK been all over it.

Only d4kyxx and davek strangely enough believe this and d4kyxx is a poor mans davek haha!!
