Cahill was an terrible midfielder, and even worse technically....good striker though.

Barmby was a forward, pienaar a wide made as with kanchelskis, and Gravesen was crap for 3 years, good for 5 months that got his move, well over rated.

Ross is technically brilliant, and controlls a game like no player appart from arteta for us in a long long time.

Great game from him personally today, looked pretty decent deeper in midfield in the second half.

Just watched the first goal again, he wont even get an assist but it was all about ross, 3 times in that move he demanded the ball, moved us forward, found space an got the ball back, just proper boss midfielding, his detractors dont understand football enough to realise how good that was
