Ross Barkley

Who is linking him? lazy journalists or the bookies? You really think those clubs see Barkley as a starting player for them? Ask the fans of them sides what they think. The best offer any of those sides seems too of offered so far is 15m, which speaks for itself

Wow, another who believes everything they read in the papers.

Yeah, he's linked to the below clubs because he's utterly gash mate.

Tottenham – 4/6
Man United – 6/1 (from 12/1 yesterday)
Chelsea – 7/1
Arsenal – 10/1
Man City – 16/1

Our fans are ridiculous...

I don't care what other clubs are rumoured* to be bidding for our players when I can see for myself how good or bad they are based on several years of watching them play football.

*usually by Sky Sports News to get punters in to SkyBet.

John Stones was horribly overrated as a fake defender, but that didn't stop morons from Man City paying £50m for his dubious services.

It would just be nice to know for sure one way or the other, us fans have been messed around for months now. It's simple Make an announcement he's leaving and he won't be in Koemans plans or he's signing a new deal.

That's the thing mate we don't know and it's what's puddling me of! Not that Ross cares but I mean either way if he signs or doesn't it's definitely a topic for more debate and this whole saga is so odd.

I'm beginning to lose patience with Ross.
I have once I recall got into his back for a performance.. he was my guess for player of the season last year. I have been a real fan of his potential and believe he can be the player he is meant to become more consistently. He does it in periods over a season.

But "when" he goes I will have nothing but resentment for him. This would also be a first.
Some of the controversial sells:
Rooney, was gutted as we all were but it made sense for his career. He made huge money and worldwide fame.
Lescott: no issue. He was not an Evertonian and was given a chance to win something. He did.
Arteta: my favorite ever player in Blue. Glad he got a chance to win a trophy after years of service at a level that would grace any team in england!
Fellaini: again not an evertonian. Owed us nothing and took a chance at the biggest club in the country. Of course he should take it.
Lukaku.. again not an evertonian. Played for us longer than I thought he would based on his self promotion and feel the time was right for him to take that step to a team at the top at the moment. He doesn't need to sit and be part of a project. He wants glory now and gave us as long as he could I feel. Apart from him being a self serving piece of work good luck to him.

Now we get to Barkley. Unless he joins a Manchester team or Chelsea I don't get it and can't justify it. He is a boyhood blue. We are clearly building something special and as an Evertonian I expect more. I don't know, maybe he feels being part of Everton is the reason England aren't selecting him... for that he might be right as I don't get his continual snub.

Maybe I will soften my position if I give it time and see how he departs.. but as it stands he is at the club he supposedly loves, offered as much as it seems he would be offered anywhere, in a team at the most exciting point it has been in almost 30 years. And he would leave to go to Spurs. That is what I don't get.

Yeah getting totally bored with the 'will he, won't he' saga. Ross - do yourself a favour coz believe me either way the longer this charade goes on you are daily losing the love of your fans.

This injury couldn't have come at a worse time for Ross or Everton. I doubt he'd be able to pass a medical at present, so that makes it likely the longer he stays at Everton during the window, it will drive down the price we're able to obtain.

Yes even if he just makes a statement he's running his contract down atleast he would be letting us know. A lot of this I reckon is down to Lukaku he was a good striker, but apart from that his I'm better than Everton attitude did the club no good at all.
