I feel like someone needs to grab him, give him a good shake and tell him he's on the verge of completely screwing up his career if he's doesn't pull his finger out.
He's got more natural talent in this little toe than some of the players in the current england squad and yet he seems to be wasting it all. I don't see Koeman and his grim tactics ever getting the best out of him either.

Again.... stats? They're not accurate... apparently he created 7 chances against palace.... a game where we had two shots all match... the stats are crap.... taking a corner isn't creating a chance IMO... people need to stop reading so deep into stats... just watch him play.... he's not that good.

Appreciate what your saying but the reason people quote stats is because they don't agree with each other's opinion & stats are simple factual information.
You say stats are not accurate that's plain wrong of course there accurate that's the point of them.
I suppose you mean they don't accurately depict a players game.
However I genuinely believe Barkley is a player who isn't always fairly represented by stats instead he is better than They suggest.

Exactly... In more than one sense. His confidence is too easily knocked and he also doesn't have great football intelligence. I still think we can get much, much more out of him but I'm resigned to now not thinking he'll become the player I once thought he would.
