Why not sign a contract with a realistic release clause. He gets his desired move if it's met and Everton return an acceptable profit from his sale.
Would this not remove a lot of rancour?

Why though, he doesn't want to play for us. Imagine He signs a contract we don't play him, Koemans already replaced him with 2/3 players, we ask too much and he's left sitting on a bench and a career going downhill.

He'd be stupid to do that. Contracts worth both ways. We've offered him contracts in the past he's fulfilled them. It's our own fault for not sorting the situation a lot earlier.

We may have no option if it's a grade 3 tear six weeks out if true?

NEA if he goes on a free next year, spend the year chipping away at him, a year out in the cold is no good for him in a World Cup year, sign a deal get a wage increase and stick around until Koeman leaves.

The only way to get into the CL is the pile quality on quality into your squad.

It's not a 11 Vs 11 game anymore it's 25 Vs 25.

I wouldn't even do that. If he is still here after the transfer window is shut but refusing to sign then the he should be told to stay away from the club altogether. Pay him to stay at home and rot and not even play for the U23's, it'll cost him a whole year with zero game time at any level and could effectively ruin him. This is a last resort obviously as if the window did shut with him still here then surely even Ross wouldn't be stupid enough to refuse a new deal at that stage.

Not at all. How can Barkley possibly worth £50m with 1 year left on his contract when we got Wanyama for £10m with 1 year left on his contract last summer.
You can't compare them are you taking the urine? Go back to your own forum you are adding nothing here.
