Why though, he doesn't want to play for us. Imagine He signs a contract we don't play him, Koemans already replaced him with 2/3 players, we ask too much and he's left sitting on a bench and a career going downhill.

He'd be stupid to do that. Contracts worth both ways. We've offered him contracts in the past he's fulfilled them. It's our own fault for not sorting the situation a lot earlier.

Yes I appreciate that. My suggestion was apropos of facilitating a 'don't burn bridges' outcome. As it presently stands, Ross is going to be a figure of contempt for many. Unfair?: maybe, but it is what it is. If the fan base see the club getting a 'proper' return on him, perhaps such rancour will be ameliorated. Ross still gets his transfer...win win.

yes, my suggestion requires goodwill and good intent from both parties : a fair and accessible release clause is of course required

Not sure it's unfair at all. If any of Koeman's statements on the matter were wrong he's had ample time to speak out and correct it, but we've heard sod all from him.

yes, I'm not sure either. I guess that's my point. There's an information vacuum causing problems in that it's manifesting itself with wild Bugsy Siegel rumours and people being pissed off. My proposal would lend clarity to the present imbroglio.

Not sure why you are worrying about it. Ross actually wants to get paid more than 100 a week. Spurs ain't going for that. Chelsea, maybe Arsenal, otherwise he's staying.

I cannot imagine anyone throwing money at Ross at this point, which may just work in our favor. Provided gansters will let him continue to reside in Liverpool, if this squad can gel a bit, he SHOULD realize he has an obvious role in this side in a couple places once he's fit. But the pressure will be off him. Gylfi, Rooney, whoever we bring in as striker, are going to be big names that the media will be just as focused on as Ross. Maybe he'll change his mind and believe in what Koeman is trying to push him to be, because Ronko is spot on.

Unfortunately, I stopped playing playstation because the gangstas figured out my account. I've been on the run ever since. It's been hard. I feel for Ross.
