To be honest mate the 50 for Barkley is nosense, 25 more realistic bit I don't think we will even get that
Let's say he doesn't go in this window and still won't sign a deal by January. How much could he reasonably go for? Could we get 25M for him? Is there any chance, assuming the gangstas let him live, that he could change his mind?

No chance in Jan to be honest, be lucky to get it now, so unless he accepts he wont get much game time at Everton and works hard to find a club were stuck with a asset which is losing its value rapidly

Not sure why you are worrying about it. Ross actually wants to get paid more than 100 a week. Spurs ain't going for that. Chelsea, maybe Arsenal, otherwise he's staying.
I'm not worried about it at all. I've said like 5 times in this thread I think he's set for Arsenal or Chelsea. I was just joining in with the discussion.

I still can't get my head around this whole saga. One week he's scoring and jumping onto the hoardings.... The next he wants out from His club.... Something stinks with this.
I don't buy Koeman wanted him gone (probably does now mind) I also don't buy he has been pushed out the door by the club either.
What I find strange though, He gets lumped in a club all of a sudden wants out.... Like now.
Looks like either him being scared or perhaps been tapped up.... Literally.
Can't wait to read his enevitable book in a decades time to find out the truth.
Have to say though that this is all rather upsetting and certainly not at all that was expected from the lad and his future... I'm actually gutted it has come to this.

Hopefully this whole saga will be a learning experience for Barkley (footballers - learning; I know).
He went into the transfer window looking for a new challenge at a Champions League club only to find Champions League clubs were not waiting with baited breath for him to come on to the market.
He now is hurt and there is a very good chance he remains where he is.
Hopefully faced with the choice of taking his ball and going home or knuckling down and facing the new challenge of helping the club he is supposed to love establish themselves as a top English and European contender he will do the honourable thing (footballers - honour; I know)

Hahaha 'threatened to leave by gangsters'

What for?!

Do they still ride bikes or something? Why can't they get down to London?
For knobbing girls he shouldn't be knobbing, apparently.

I did a bit of a read up on this as the whole thing is quite interesting. In 2014 a chap called Sam Walker tweeted Ross telling him "Inbox me a number for you now ya little rat! You no wot this is about so don't play stupid or your footie career will come to an end".

I don't think it's beyond the realms of possibility that he's been told to leave Everton by gangsters. There's certainly some evidence to suggest it may be the case. All it takes is for one person to attack him once and that's his career gone. It doesn't all add up but it's an interesting one.

Not at all. How can Barkley possibly worth £50m with 1 year left on his contract when we got Wanyama for £10m with 1 year left on his contract last summer.

Wanyama wasn't signed last summers was he? And also wanyama isn't English .. like it or not .. that increases value for some reason... also the tv money has sent values through the roof...saying that... i don't think we ever expected 50m... thinknthat was just our way for saying we want 30m for him

Offered new contract badly advised and continues to be so, factor in his own feelings and personality. Barkley and whoever is around him are cutting their noses off now, he has always picked these injuries and plays right into the hard side of a clubs contract offer and other clubs valuation.

Barkley is richer than any of those supposedly Liverpool gangsters put together...they are no gangsters but attention seakers. If he is going it will be because he wants to go.

The Keane and Andre Grey deals are benchmarks, he shouldnt be going anywhere for less than £25mill plus addons & a percentage of any future big move should it happen.
