I'm quite shocked at the amount of hatred in here. Without the full facts too. people acting like he personally took £35m from you. I can get why people are confused but to be so hateful over a football transfer is a bit much.
Hopefully Mike, I thought his people should have released a statement a few months back when there was questions marks hanging over his future. He's been poorly represented, he needs to bin his agent asap and have a long hard think about what he wants

We should offer him a pay cut if he has the nerve to turn round and ask a contract at this stage
Think some people on here are quite passionate about the football club mate. So regardless of it not being our £35m seeing someone act in a way that feels disrespectful to the club gets us riled.

I think the fact that nothing has been heard from the Barkley camp at all is the reason for the distaste, rather than hatred.
Not just regarding the transfer confusion but the whole contract situation.
Basically, he/his agent and possibly the club should have dealt with it far better...in short...a bloody mess and probably very underhand
I've defended Ross constantly on here from repeated unwarranted hatred from certain posters.
However, I can't justify what he's probably done here. It's fine to speculate on a public forum - it's what it's for - and if it's true and he's going to do what many of us think he is, he deserves actual hatred. Because Everton is a passion subject for us.
