If Unsworth stays on past the international break, then Barkley will walk straight into the team. If there's a new manager, and Ross is still intent on leaving, then I'm not sure we'll see him play again.
It’s sad though because if i remember right didn’t he play about 90% if games for 4 years in a row under RM and RK? He did the job he was told to do mostlyHe already protects his movement after his leg break - v rare to see Ross commit to a 50/50 [I don't mean that critically, as he's not on the park to go round smashing into tackles, but it is noticeable]. But the injury is a bad situation whichever way you look at it. If it's legit it means he's missed 4 months plus with a hamstring problem - sounds severe for a muscular injury. On the other hand, if he's just sat on his ringpiece because he CBA with Koeman then that shows where his head is at. Or isn't, as far as we're concerned.
Where is that story?BBC saying it is unlikely that he will sign a new deal.
Hahaha, this just gets better and better.
Call yourself an Evertonian, Ross?

Ross Barkley is still likely to leave Everton despite acting manager David Unsworth’s optimism that the England midfielder could still be persuaded to stay.
Barkley is about a month away from a return to action after injuring a hamstring in August.
The 23-year-old’s contract expires next summer and Unsworth has said it is not impossible Barkley could sign an extension.
It is understood this is unlikely.
Everton accepted a £35m bid from Chelsea for Barkley on deadline day but the deal didn’t go through as Barkley had second thoughts and opted to remain at Goodison Park.
It is thought Chelsea will return with a January offer, whilst Tottenham, who were linked with the England international throughout the summer, also remain keen on the player.

I live by the rule that anything bad is true. Not much meat in that.
Personally I would keep him to keep us in premiership football, and let him go on a free, survival is worth far more than we will get for him now fee wise!Soon as he is fit he will be sold, are they going to play him knowing if he gets injured they can kiss goodbye to a fee.
depends hoe largely the specter of relegation loomsSoon as he is fit he will be sold, are they going to play him knowing if he gets injured they can kiss goodbye to a fee.
