You don’t know that, it’s based on rumours. I see just as many people saying all the talk about him wanting to leave for social life reasons are BS. Truth is no one has a clue about that side of things apart from Barkley and those close to him. What can be proven though is that he has stagnated at Everton from a football perspective.

With regard to Spurs, they are vastly more likely to win something than we are, plus they play in champs league and near enough all their English players get picked for England. It’s very easy to see why they an attractive option for him.... all you need to do is take the blue goggles off for a second.

I think it’s safe to say just about every player in the world would pick them over us at the moment.

Nice to get 4 against WHU but we face classier teams than that soon. His level of player are in short supply and we need him back in this team.

Thing is they are going through a sticky patch so they might throw some money at it in Jan, which will be good for us, get a bit more for Big Sam to spend

I do not think Levy will take that chance but will want to see how he plays and go for a freebie in summer.

Of course he’s off and who could possibly blame him. He sees lots of players with less talent from his generation getting in England national team, playing for teams at the top of the table, getting champs league footy...

Meanwhile he’s stuck at shitty relegation troubled Everton who are near the bottom of the table and have just hired a hoof ball manager who dropped him from the England squad. His career is going backwards currently.

He’d be an absolute moron to stay here now if he has an option of signing for one of the top 6.

His personal life has more to do with his wanting to leave than merely footballing reasons... as you would know if you lived in the city..not a jib at you at all but there are other relevant factors involved in his decision.

If it’s the gangsters then why didn’t he go last summer when he had the chance.
