Agreed and what makes it so much worse for me right now.The circs of Rooney leaving lot different to this with Barkley but you have a good point.

He will be sitting on Spurs bench trying to figure out how the sliding pitch worksHe's been gone since the summer.
Any "Evertonian" who has the actual ability to improve the fortunes of the club but wants to get off instead isn't a proper blue.
I hope he enjoys London.
Merseyside is not his comfort zone atm ...Spuds? Don't make me laugh..what are they going to win ?
He's been out for 15 weeks with a hammy now. If that doesn't help you work out what's going on here then nothing will.
Have to agree, can't believe the support he's getting for blatantly saying up yours I'm running my contract down anybody else would be slaughtered.Said months ago he'll go to Spurs for next to nothing and Levy will sell Delle Ali to the highest bidder, great business for them disastrous for us.Even now people are starting to blame Allardyce, beggars belief.Absolute disgrace he is, running his contract down to leave on a free, scumbag, calls himself a Blue?
I agree DaveJust need Ross back in the fold now and we will have some firepower.
Nice to get 4 against WHU but we face classier teams than that soon. His level of player are in short supply and we need him back in this team.
Ross has earmarked himself for the Jan transfer budget as soon as Levy opens the wallet. He's more than likely ear-marked him and a couple of others as the transfer spending money for January, unfortunately.
Hope I'm wrong. The lad is class.

It’ll be a deadline day deal for 10 m
the way they are free falling they might take the riskI like Sam's response. Ross isn't going to get much of a deal anywhere else unless he gets back up to speed.
I can't imagine the likes of Spurs shelling out without seeing some form first.
He's been told Barkley + a couple of others are his January transfer war chest.
How did it come to this? We lose a class player and end up "gaining" THREE bozo managers one after the other.
Koeman takes full responsibility for this though. His appalling man management skills are the reason no contract was signed in the first place. The club should sue that divvy.
Thought exactly the same thing when I read his postEver heard of Jay Jay Okocha mate?

I’m glad to see you said signing for one of the top 6 and not playing for one of the top 6Of course he’s off and who could possibly blame him. He sees lots of players with less talent from his generation getting in England national team, playing for teams at the top of the table, getting champs league footy...
Meanwhile he’s stuck at shitty relegation troubled Everton who are near the bottom of the table and have just hired a hoof ball manager who dropped him from the England squad. His career is going backwards currently.
He’d be an absolute moron to stay here now if he has an option of signing for one of the top 6.
I do hope he’s a moron and stays though !
If it’s the gangsters then why didn’t he go last summer when he had the chance. His personal life has more to do with his wanting to leave than merely footballing reasons... as you would know if you lived in the city..not a jib at you at all but there are other relevant factors involved in his decision.
