Don't think he's arsed either to be honest.
Yea. That's why I think he's now in the earn as much cash as he can mind set.

If he honestly was still interested he would stay here where he will get game time. Although if he didn't sign a new deal personally I wouldn't want the distraction.

But like Wilshere and Walcott I think their chance has come and gone.

Or it's been made up to flush out Spurs.

Thing is Chelsea and Spurs have a history of playing mind games with each other and messing with each others bids, this could all be smoke and mirrors

I posted the other day that the Spurs ITK said they wont bid because Levy wont take a chance on his injury as it was a lot worse than feared and for Spurs, it would be a big outlay. They are not getting involved.

Yet more evidence that agents run this sport.

Not even for no fee in the summer? I still think that's the most likely outcome.

He had a groin injury when he went for the medical then came back and got a hamstring injury. He’s scum cost the club £20 million to probably earn himself more of a signing on fee and more wages.
He hasn't cost the club anything apart from humility. It's up to the club to get the fee they think he's worth.

Except he has cost us money, quite a bit of it. He signed in summer and the transfer fee is far larger than what it will be now. And for what? If a club waited another 5 months they could get the English international for free minus a tribunal fee which would be even lower again than now.

So when the transfer market is inflated so much now, potentially 35 million could end up being 9 million if he left on a free transfer. I know which amount makes it easier to replace him afterwards would be?

Plus even the side point of if he did leave for 35 million, makes his essential replacement in koemans eyes only 10 million which despite the high fee, makes him cheaper to us

Yes thats what they wanted, him to prove his fitness here and they sign him in the summer. Some of the fans are annoyed as they will miss out on him due to Levy wanting a freebie. Apparently he was a too target for Pochettino

Yet we don't exactly know what happened. He may never have wanted to go to Chelsea and may not go there this time round. Or Chelsea may have pulled out. As much as I hate what he's doing, he isn't obliged to make sure he gets the biggest fee for us as possible. That's up to the club.

Why does everyone assume he turned down a move in summer ? Logic suggests it was Chelsea that told him to wait and there were no other bids.... so please explain how we lost money that was never bid in the first place ?

It’s all asssumptions, literally no one here has a clue what happened, all we have is Moshiris word which means nothing after that McCarthy debacle.
