Safari 4 is my browser of choice, as it's pretty cutting edge in terms of features, but still in beta.

This site doesn't work so well with it, and many of the buttons for some reason don't work. Which may well be down to the forum software.

Just given you a heads up for when all the other browsers catch up.

Just because it can be done at a young age, doesn't mean it's that simple, it just means that that person is very skilled. But like I say your not going to find many paid designers at that age.

My point was, because my 13 year old sister has a fashion website, I dont regard web design a profession unless you are ridiculously skilled but then I wouldn't describe that person to be a web designer.

Mad isn't it. Its true though. ICT is a massively important GCSE these days, on a par with Maths and English and the main piece of coursework across the country is to create and host a website, and not just any arl website... they are fairly complex. The basics are firmly set in anyway.

Then, if they go on to do A Level ICT... the websites there could give anyone a run for their money. They are being tutored by experts remember.

Well I am a web designer, and I make plenty of money out of it. I know less than many and more than others. I know guys who know more about CSS than anyone on the planet - they are the guys who write the textbooks, work with the browsers to ensure compatabilities, develop the applications that set the tone for the web.

What do I do? Well I don't sit in my bedroom and pretend to have a career. I have worked very hard to learn my trade, what works and what doesn't. What colours work best with other colours. How to market a site, what parts of a website get more attention than others, I know the theories and how to implement them.

If a 13 year old can do that job, then great. 13 year old called Freddy Adu used to be pretty impressive at footy.

The only apple product I have is an Ipod, which I barely use nowadays because the ridiculous Itunes kills my computer. Safari had the same effect, just crashed connstantly. Firefox opens instantly and is the quickest browser I've used, opera is crap and IE takes a week to open, another week to open a new tab, and a further fortnight to load redtube.com (n)(n)

Yeah see this is why you're getting flak. You're wondering why he's having a go at your career when you're saying stuff about him. Can't we all just get along when we're wrong?

What did I say about Danny there? I'm saying there are bedroom designers who attempt to be designers, I never even thought about Danny there.

I read into it that it was an insinuation about him, considering you keep asking him 'what he actually does' and keep saying 'you're still in school aren't you?'
