Safari 4 is my browser of choice, as it's pretty cutting edge in terms of features, but still in beta.

This site doesn't work so well with it, and many of the buttons for some reason don't work. Which may well be down to the forum software.

Just given you a heads up for when all the other browsers catch up.

You dont particularly like me do you Ghost?

I bought an apple the other day, if thats any consolation.

Was an actual eatable apple like.

I do like you. You were the first guy who introduced me to the Everton forums, remember 1878? and that Arteta article.

If I upset you over you being a student, I'm sorry - didn't realise that you had graduated, and also didn't realise it was offensive to be a student.

But I work really hard to do what I do, and I its a little bit demeaning for someone to say my job is elementary.

I read into it that it was an insinuation about him, considering you keep asking him 'what he actually does' and keep saying 'you're still in school aren't you?'

Yeah but we established that he wasn't and that he had a job important enough to keep under wraps. So I accepted that.

Grow some thicker skin (y)

Offended over being a student?

God knows what gave you that idea. I was joking when I said "Dont belittle me :P" because you were mistaken, as I was about you being in the restaurant business which you said belittled you.

Dont know why you care what I think anyway, I just dont regard web design as a profession, never have and never will. Thats not a dig at you personally, because I could claim to be a professional web designer.

Well my job isn't easy and I work very hard at it, as I'm sure Danny will, and as I'm sure you do (Project Manager right?) and everyone else who has to put bread on the table, or season tickets in pockets.

Ok, well it is. Whether or not you regard it to be or not. One of my close friends earns 6 figures out of it, but he is amazing and gets all the top top jobs. I'm talking University sites, government work etc....

Yeah, so Web Design is a profession. It just has different levels, you can have amateur photographers, who become professional.

A professional career is when someone makes a living out of it. Which I do.

It's also worth noting that I was shortlisted for a job at Rippleeffect - I was being offered 22k or something like that, but I didn't want to give up my business just yet.

I know where your coming from, because there are a multitude of amateur web designers out there. But there is more to web design than simple pretty pictures and letting software churn out the code.

I spend a good chunk of my time taking projects that have been messed up by someone who is claiming to know what they are doing, but not being able to deliver.

I think thats were my irrational hatred stems from.

Dont take it personally.
