I get it, you don't like the football, but when you put it into perspective he hasn't done that bad a job really. Joint 6th most points since taking over. More than Arsenal. I think everyone here would have taken that if you were offered that on November 30th.

But I'll leave it there, I think the guy is probably a goner, but good luck for next season, hopefully much better football to come!

Who are the six teams to get more ?

I thought this survey question was (another) joke at first.

I’d be surprised if anyone on high signed off on it, seems to me like something that comes from admin staff, trying and failing to impress.

It makes us look silly I think. Sam is used to unpopularity and the sack, as much as he is used to nice payoffs. He won’t lose sleep before or after he gets the sack here.

I could have envisaged Kenwright pleading Martinez’ case with Moshiri but when it comes down to it Allardyce will just be tossed aside in a number of weeks. The question is pointless and only succeeds in further undermining whatever little harmony is left at FF between now and the end of the season.

If this thing actually was for real and has Moshiri’s blessing then any confidence I have in him getting it together in a few short weeks is crushed, not due to any sympathy for Sam. Just because it’s plain stupid and unnecessary.
I'm not sure mate. I can see Mishiri's hands all over this. I agree it's not a classy thing to do but its in keeping with his behaviour so far.

Reminds me a bit of the Roman Emperors playing to the mob. Welcome to Pleb world.

We send these survey out quite a lot. Nothing new there, it’s only news because we want Sam out, if we where 4th it wouldn’t even be mentioned

C'mon, he had to sort that defence out. You can't expect many people to turn you into a great attacking force AND guarantee survival in that short time frame. Everton were shipping a ridiculous amount of goals before he arrived, in Europe and domestically with some shocking results. And yeah, Everton won 3-0 or something against West Ham the day or day after he was appointed, but his appointment did seem to give everyone a lift. You can choose not to give him credit for that win, that's your right, but I'm not sure if Unsworth could have got that reaction on his own. Their heads looked like they were down before he arrived, you didn't look like a cohesive unit whatsoever, and you were hovering just above the relegation zone. But maybe anyone could have saved Everton, and it wouldn't have mattered if it was Tony Pulis, Mick McCarthy or Joe Kinnear taking over, we don't know, but to me it did look like Everton were in serious trouble before he arrived. But you'd probably know better.

The common wisdom seemed to be that you'd sold your biggest goal threat, not replaced him, and you had a scatter gun approach in the transfer market with some technically good players, but it just wasn't gelling and it could have gone very bad... in the absence of a cohesive unit.

He's done okay, give him that at least!
What football team do you support mate?

This is ridiculous. He has absolutely done a bad job.

He was in 13th (tied in points for 12th) and 2 points out of 9th. That wouldn't be horrible if the following didn't happen:

He has ZERO cup or European competitions to balance. He missed the toughest part of our schedule (all the top 6 in the first month or two). He missed half the injuries - Bolassie, Coleman, Baines, etc. He got to spend 50M in friggin January.

To gain 2-3 points on the field with all of those advantages that Koeman or Unsworth didn't have, frankly, he's been worse than both and a certain downgrade.

But really, the constant arrogance, the blaming everyone but himself, the delusional and insulting characterization of our fans, etc. should have gotten him fired in 5 seconds. I do think it's fair to bring in a new D of F to make that decision, but it's pretty obvious he will.
Sums my feelings on this up nicely.

I don't think it shows Mosh is clueless at all he is actually being very smart. He knows Sam isn't liked, he knows changes are needed throughout the club, CEO, DOF, Kenwright. He is getting a mandate to make the changes.

He is the main shareholder. He doesn't need a mandate. He just needs to get on with making the right calls but instead seems intent on making us a laughing stock.

You seem to know an awful lot about Everton's results, performances, and attitude for an Orient fan.

But the old regime is still in place until they are all gone he will need the mandate. Also I think we talk about loss of identity and this is one way to find it again hopefully. I don't think it makes us a laughing stock only in the eyes of big Sam's media mates does it do that.

I've only fact checked one of those stats..

It is correct he has conceded 26 goals in 20 games. But there are only 7 teams with a better defence in that time, the top 5, Burnley and Newcastle. So you might want to double check some of those stats.

He's done pretty well considering what he was taking over.

I guess with the money this fat lump is taking out of our club he can afford plenty of PR minions to lurk around forums and social media. Grubby, yet futile effort to big him up and influence supporter opinion.
