Klopp was a victim of his own ego today, as anyone with half a brain would`ve made sure Martina got battered on his side, meaning the centre halves would get pulled out of position covering for the waste of space.

Instead, he knew best and thought they`d win it no problems anyway.

If he had any humility, he`d hold his hands up and admit his mistake.

He should also be forcing Henderson into an apology too for his behaviour after the game ( hopefully it`ll be in the refs report too )

Yep, any sane Kopite will be fuming with him because if he's going to rest players or rotate then he should be doing it midweek and not in a Derby

Made up he's made an absolute tit of himself

Couldn't believe it eggs, me and my 9 year old were laughing our heads off. I said to him "he thinks this is sewn up here". Literally 3 minutes later we are cheering our first corner and it was creeping towards the 75m mark when they are only a goal up they look vulnerable and start making rash decisions.

Horrible to watch, but brilliant to see this so called genius Klopp makes the kind of decisions a dad makes when he's manager of a kids Sunday league side on a 3 game unbeaten run

At this point of the season it was the only way we could realistically approach this game mate.

For ninety minutes the fan four where limited to precisely two good chances, one created by a superb solo effort, the other by an appalling mistake from Williams I think.

Watch that game back without the nerves watching live, and its shocking how poor they actually where, as for us being poor, two weeks ago we where getting labelled relegation certs by some, and now we just made one of the 'best attacks in Europe' look distinctly dross, and managed it with two twenty years olds a 33 year old and cuco Martina as our back four.

The rs weren't at it today mate because their managers knobhead attitude rubbed off on them. They thought they would stroll through today and that's cost them big time.

Like you mentioned I thought they were poor in large parts and the one player who genuinely made me brick it every time he had it was taken off, during a period where he was absolutely dominating that side.

We'll have no choice but go for a win (IMO) dave, try and take the game to them a bit more (show more passion as well) just hope it's not all like today, sit back and try and catch them on the break, or nick one from a set piece. Depending on how well we continue to do, It'll be interesting how Allardyce approaches (in all reality) a one off game.
I wouldn't be surprised if we adopt a "play it again Sam" strategy (see what I did there?!).

We'd do well to avoid that though. A new striker thrown in who can offer us a chance to hold up play and be dangerous from set pieces is just what we require.

I dont want to see play that again sam and include CUCU in that defence!

I’m slowly being won over. He’s doing the job with what we have, and only conceding one in the last four is definitely starting to make the confidence come back. Imagine what that match would have been like under Koeman?

Oh and fair play to Sammy Lee too - he’s constantly on the backs of all and sundry. Did anyone notice if he celebrated after the goal?

He'll have a trick up his sleeve.

He's got into Klopp's head before and he's done it again. Klopp will be working on how to drag us out of position and create space and more chances. We can profit from that. We'll be offered better territorial position and that opens up the possibility to get numbers up in and around their box on occasion.

He did.

Martina and Niasse wont last long, both will be subs. Isn't it nice to know that we carried two players today and still got a draw, roll on the cup game.
