He did what he had to do and then still refused to try anything different, that's what grates the most. Like today 1 -0 up and he brings another defender on despite us having nothing to worry about in the League.

Look I get it, you hate Sam Allardyce...

We won 2-0, any other manager you would be happy but it's big Sam...

I don't want allardyce at this club any longer than the end of the season. If he is still here next season then my interest in football will be at an all time low as it is now.

If Sam can get us 7th in the last 2 games with the 15 goal swing then he should be here next season to be fair.

You're questioning my age with comments like that, the irony is quite remarkable.

Sigh.... I know as soon as I posted this you would say that.

I am not questioning your intelligence or anything I am saying that you must be about 3 years old if you think we have never had a manager in your lifetime who has not taken a defeat before a ball was kicked.

Were you not born when Moyes was here? Or Smith? We threw a derby under Moyes for example.

Make sense now?

Final Score - and Garth Crooks is on about Allardyce again!

"The Everton fans have got the gall - the brass neck - to complain that he should leave."

Come and watch a game, Garth, and see just what we have to suffer.

You'll enjoy hospitality, of course. We have to pay good money to watch this awful brand of football.

I always remember the wham fans going off the nut at sam after they beat hull at home.,

I was one of the people thinking, Christ, what have they got to complain about!

I now fully understand

I've been of the opinion that Allardyce was only ever going to be here until the summer and that the final 12 months of his deal was for him to get a retirement severance in what would be his final job.

However, looking at this with an objective hat on; looking at Allardyce's record on paper, I'd be surprised if he was straight up sacked. His remit was to keep us in league and he's done that, I'm very unhappy that we haven't reeled Burnley in for the Europe spot but I doubt there was that kind of pressure on Bisto from the boardroom.

I think if Allardyce wants to stay in management for another year, I think he will.

Garth Crooks rarely has a good word to say about Everton. A real head patter.
