I was thinking earlier, is it just us the fans who hate him and don’t want him here??
Pretty much every footy pundit or ex player are saying what’s our problem, he’s done a great job, give him time etc. For me he’s got to go but there’s a niggling feeling he’s here for another year.

I know this is becoming a worn out theme, but don't include me in the "hate" brigade. I do not hate him at all, or indeed anyone else. I don't want him to stay as our manager though. A relief will come with the new manager and all the juvenile abuse and hate comments will presumably vanish. (For a few months at least?)

I think we should give him another season.

Nobody 'big' will join a club that has finished 8th.

Given Brand's impending appointment, it looks like transfer dealings will be 'handed off' to a DoF - so I have no concerns there.

I think the intellectual section of our fans are seeing that this is going to be a good appointment.

Martinez in 143 games averaged 1.56 points per game.

According to the usually reliable Transfermrkt website Sam, in 24 games, is averaging 1.50 points per game, with a squad he didn't build, in a relegation battle when he took over.

I'm 100% behind him for next year and expect him to rebuild his career with us for many years to come.

Here's a stat for you, he's been in football management for decades he hasn't won anything.

Brands plays a traditional Dutch passing game and Sam plays extremely agricultural kick and rush. It's not even worthy of long ball description as it's hoofing not long passing.

If you don't see a potential issue there then I'm concerned.

I'd give a new manager 6 games, but it really depends on physical appearance.Quite a few come on here just to look for an outlet for their unhappy lives.Like kicking a cat you don't have.
