IF the form can maintain itself largely through till January though mate, both his and the owners ideas may change, got the feeling Moshiri can let himself get caught up in 'hype' and change his mind easily at times.

Think BFS will want personally to do a fair bit of business in January, but he won't say a word about it to the media as he knows the game, and if he does it will undermine that 'team spirit' he's built and also push prices up etc.

Think min of 3 in and possibly up to 5-6 out personally

I dont think he'll want that many in mate. Striker and a LB.

I dont think Allardyce will last beyond the end of the season. He wont get top 7, imo. He's not the answer. He's a stand in for the next FT manager.

Big Sam has come here to press the reset button because this Everton had crashed. To he fair to him he has done what he was brought in to do with minimal fuss.
I'd personally be amazed if he sees out the full term of his contract.
I think Sam will be happy to retire at the end of the season.

If he keeps this form up then he can stand in for as long as he wants.
The novelty of that will wear off. I detect it already has, tbh.

He is what he is and to dislike him for that is like barking at the moon. There's a certain shame for a club to take on Allardyce, though. Yes, fans are pragmatic and will wear most things if results are good. But it won take long for this arrangement to sour.

I cant say I'm anti-BS or pro-BS, tbh. I just know he's not the best we can do and I'm pretty certain that we'll be in the hunt for a new manager in the summer.

I just hope we get a manager in for the long-term now.

Someone like Tuchel, Ancelotti or Simeone.

We may laugh now, but come summer we will be a completely different prospect. They’ll have a big budget and the chance to move us into a new era with the stadium (hopefully).

We’re in danger of becoming one of them clubs that sack managers every year.

I think he will do enough to earn a 2nd season.

Tuchel is not out of our league, I believe.

I cant see an ambitious club putting up with SA and his two buddies for much longer than necessary, tbh.

Yeah but things like organizing the team and seeing out a game.As i said before that's all very basic stuff.Yet that was beyond a certain former manager of ours basic comprehension!Long term as i said already im not sure Big Sam has a future here.In the here and now though, he's been perfect for us.I think his reign is all about sorting this club out, and putting some solid structures in place, for whoever his successor is.

Maybe.

His spending in January could be revealing. If he's recycling he's not going to be longer than a one season wonder. He has to win the cup or get us into Europe to persuade Moshiri not to cut and run for the next big(ish) managerial name.

I dunno, theres quite a lot to be recycled.

"We" could clear 60m just selling players we have lying around FF, without even making a dent in a matchday squad.

Yep. But I can appreciate what he's done and still see his enormous limitations.

Fans will tire of his brand of footy VERY quickly. Best all round if he gets us top ten and he's released before that happens.

True. There could be a big spend along those lines. But Moshiri wont be digging deep and spending a penny over what's brought in, so no matter to him.

He may even be looking for a profit to buy out the contracts of the new managerial team and with Allardyce's connivance...now THAT would be pure BS.
