I can't imagine a day when beating Liverpool means very little.
We likely will lose, but some are almost itching for that to happen, which is kind of sad.

Think it's more the reality that even if we beat them it's painfully obvious that we will not go on to do anything in the cup anyway mate as we'd have to fluke another couple of games against good sides to have a chance even.

As for wishing us to lose, ultimately no need to even consider that, BFS is predictable and won't be here long anyway, sows ear and all that

You can't have organisation without hoof ball?
No, you can't play open expansive football like City with the shower that we have.
When we tried to play it from the back we were conceding 3 or 4 a game aganst some pretty gash sides.
At least we are not getting hammered every week which allows us to pontificate about getting some foreign superstar with an armband in during the summer.

Like I’ve said the day we appointed him the owners piddled all over us and any ambition we and them had. When WHEN Liverpool knock us out I still want him gone end of season it makes no difference.
And what if he's still here mate? genuine question. You talk about ambition, we've won one cup in thirty years mate. Hardly the record of an ambitious club. I want us to win the league every year, win the champions league, own the FA cup, and all with the best manager that's ever lived. Sadly, footy and life isn't like that. Nothing to do with lack of ambition from the fans, because ultimately, we have no say in the running of our club. Those that take a stand are labelled kopites!!!
I never wanted Sam mate, very few did, but in my honest opinion, he was necessary. We were in bother. It's easy to say we panicked and we were never going down, but that's after he's somehow managed to string some results together.
Let's see what he does in the window eh? He's not going to be here long term, far from it, even he knows that.

I don't know what type of football we will play when the team if fully in Sam Allyrdyce mode.

I do know that we were fast heading towards a very serious situation before he arrived where relegation was a real possibility.

I do know that we all recognise how unbalanced the squad since the start of the season with no experienced centre forward and only one left back... currently injured.

I do know that no manager can put his stamp on a team in just a couple of weeks , that will take several months. All Sam has done at the moment is created a proper organisational structure with the players available to get some very valuable points.

Everybody is entitled to their own opinion. I have no interest in the opinions of those who have never given him a chance.

It did, and Koeman did not address it. Which i found bizzare, he stuck by players who were clearly struggling and he was chopping and changing his defence. The lack of pressure from the front resulted in us having gaping holes in midfield because they weren't compact enough.

Then "Unsy" came in and god knows what he was doing, then the crowd got restless and the "relegation"word got mentioned and everything went to pot.

Silva was not for me; but i would have went all balls out on Tuchel. £7m a year would have at least peeked is interest
Forgot about Tuchel, know very little about him also mind.

Cool name though.

If we beat Liverpool, and I appreciate it's a very big if, the first thing I do when I get home will be to logon to GOT and vault you like you've never been vaulted before !

If we beat Liverpool...

Sam's tactics may keep us in the game, but a win will require a considerable helping of good luck.

I see a tired team (Liverpool) playing a very tired team (us). I think the team with more energy will win.

Probably not a TV classic for neutrals.

It’s a debate that can go on and on. There was NO need for him it’s not march and we weren’t in the bottom 3. It’s just desperation and panic by the board. Well let’s just say IF he’s still here it will tell me all I need to know about moshiri.

You were quick to slate @davek off when he raised concerns over Moshiri and Koeman, telling him to shut up and even told him to support the club.

Can you take your own advice please and stop crying like a teenage girl who never got asked to the prom.

Nobody is talking about playing like City. But you can tighten up the back without resorting to hoofing the ball 90 yards down field and have a 20 year old run after it like a sunday league game

His conservative, non-committal opinion is unacceptable in this time of war. Let us strike a momentary truce to string him up as an example to all those who seek the comfort of the fence

His head shall be mounted on Prince Ruperts tower has a message to all

Reported both of you for being off-topic.
So, Allardyce, just over 48 hours to go before he shows us his plan for getting at least a point from Bournemouth, a game I think we'll win.
