walcott has always come across as a nice lad, genuinely think he's a very good signing

I don't know. He's almost overly nice, you know the sort.

Calls in for a brew and perhaps if the moment is right a biscuit and then.....''i'm just nipping up to the loo'' only for you to find him wanking off upstairs wearing oven gloves and a pair of your knickers over his head.

In nearly 70 years watching Everton, I have watched ,from the 'old paddock' area, while all but a few Everton left backs have been ripped the shreds by the crowd in that area at least. The exceptions were RAy Wilson, Alex Parker, Baines in his pomp, and Lescott briefly. All the others including superb players like George Thomson and Hinchcliffe had an uneasy relationship with the crowd, and most of the rest were downright hated. The stick that Pistone got was unbelievable. In general, Evertonians are very suspicious of left backs.
Loved Parker possibly our best ever right back. You might have been thinking of Mick Meaghan.

I just sincerely hope that there's at least some sort of plan being concocted behind the scenes.
There is, he was appointed to keep us in the premier league the team has been a shambles all season. He got some good points early on thank god without them we'd but down with Swansea. He's made two signings who I think we will get some joy from. The last man in charge couldn't even organise hoofball or any logical tactics this season and wasted millions in the process.Survival is still the mandate whether we like it or not.

Who told you about this...

Sorry, quite right....Dunlop....Parker....Thomson...those were the days! I talked at length with Tommy Docherty a couple of years ago, about his memories of Everton players, and he specifically mentioned Meagan as a player he thought had a lot of talent and versatility 'wing half(!)' or full back. Parker was superb...had the ability to 'shepherd' the winger into a position were he would literally give up the ball....no tackle required! Supreme passer of the ball as well.
