Offers something quite different to Rom. Lacks the physical presence that Rom has and uses to pull in defenders, but is very good technically with great vision.

Aha - and this is where the plan comes together... cos Rom can learn this from Eto'o over 2 years or so. A lot like McCarthy can learn from Barry while he's still playing.

Love it. Also Stones from Jags and Distin, and Hibbert I suppose.
I love the balance in our squad right now.
 
I've seen him live couple of years ago when Poland played against Cameroon (he scored a hat-trick btw). It never crossed my mind, I will see him in a royal blue shirt. Great signing - Lukaku can't ask for a better teacher.
 


With that footballing brain of his, assuming his appetite for the game is alive (and it looks like it is), he could play at a very high level for another two seasons I think - the two year contract suddenly looks inspired.
