Should Kenny being given a chance? Surely it is worth a try...obviously no players will come in during the jan window so that they can balance the books...or even Holgate?

Kenny should be given a chance, it's what should happen when players are out of form, Seamus is bang out of form, he's certainly not the only one though. Fans who have adored him are wanting him punted because he's having the first crappy patch of his EFC career, awesome fans.

He's well and truly finished. I was one of his biggest advocates for him to become captain, but now I really want him moving on and a much better player brought in. Give the armband to Sigurdsson.

I wouldn’t drop him, but only because I think Kenny isn’t a capable replacement. Hopefully get through season and then replace in Summer unless he manages to regain some form

Anyone who thinks he should be dropped for Kenny can’t be serious. The lad is worse than Hibbert was for us. Unfortunately we’re going to have to stick with Seamus.

Certainly Kenny, I just dont see that turn of pace coming back for Coleman, has had long enough to settle back in, surely!?. But then again his partner Walcott is not up to much, the right side offers very little in defence or attack, its just turgid, staying away from Walcott thread as I will had up for inappropriate language etc...

Can't recall seeing a player at EFC decline so much, so fast.

Sad to see. Keep hoping he'll play himself back into form but increasingly thinking that last injury has decimated his pace over 5 yards and he could be done.

You are probably correct, an horrific injury. I just think it's a bit premature.

Sigurdsson? I thought you lot wanted a captain who was passionate and shouted at refs? Does he do that?

...difficult to see Holgate in the frame given Silva has said he’s available for loan in January.

Yep, I don't think he has any intention of giving Holgate a go in a back 3 or right back this season.

Its Coleman or no one I reckon.

Talking of the defence, I wonder was it worth playing 3 at the back yesterday when Gueye was brought back in. The 3 at the back worked well against Burnley as we didn't really have a recognised defensive midfielder but looking at the line up through the middle yesterday, would we gave been better changing the formation if he was so keen to bring Gueye back.

Hindsight I know, just thinking out loud and another missed opportunity to pick up a positive result.

...I just hope Silva isn’t playing 3 at the back so he can shoehorn Mina, Keane and Zouma in the team. Similarly, playing Richarlison CF to accomodate Bernard.
