I am seeing so many posters on here saying he should just let some youngster take over for him.
Does Coleman select the team himself?
Does Coleman come into the team meeting and declare, "I am going to be playing today, the manager can go frix himself"?
Does Coleman deny other upcoming RBs (Are there any) to develop due to his insecurities?
Does Coleman have secret dossier on all the incoming managers in the world, that regardless of who comes here, they are forced to play him?
He seems to be honest-to-GOD kinda guy, just get his head down and work his butt off. The succession of managers obviously see something in him, during the training that encourages them to pick Seamus Coleman over the other, "waiting-for-Coleman-to-go" Cafus of the world.
He is getting past it, yes of course. Is it his fault that the club did not have the vision to foresee it and ease his burden.
The War horse analogy was so apt, it made me emotional.
Yes, that's what we are doing. We are flogging the old war horse to death, because we do not have the balls to complain to the brass about lack of alternatives. We are just fuxxing bullies taking out our anger on the horse, who is doing all it can to hold up its end. Yes, he will struggle as time passes but that is not due to his fault
*Rant over*
