2024/25 Seamus Coleman

Players are not “servants” they are commodities and they know it.

It should’ve been “thanks for everything Seamus, we’ll make you a Giant in 5 years or some nonsense like that, see you then” not a new contract.

It’s his country you fool
Country before club all day
That's fine. That's his right. However, if that's how it is then we should have declined to offer him a new contract. He's very fragile physically and has a long history of getting injured on international duty leaving him unavailable to us in a position that we are desperately short in. If his body isn't up to playing frequently then something has to give and it shouldn't be the organisation that pays the wages that is sacrificed.

There’s no way on earth you could say ‘mate, here’s your contract extension but you can’t represent your country’ it’s not happening .

Talking about seamus Coleman playing for Ireland. That’s the conversation you fat blurt

Yes. And he should not still be playing for Ireland when his body obviously can’t handle it. He’s reckless and selfish towards the plight of Everton these days.

It’s all good though he puts out a decent weekly rallying cry that the team will do better. If he makes it onto the pitch.
