2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Way better than us is somewhat of an exaggeration considering they have just 1 more win than us and only 3 more points and we lost the first 4 games of the season on the bounce. It is very amusing watching people try to make playing negative rubbish yesterday, luckily stealing a point but throwing 2 points away into a positive thing. Carry on Dave. Giving me a good laugh.
The players they have, overall, are superior.

There's an interesting thread there I think.

@chicoazul is a big fan of exploring the fan-club dynamic, but is the behaviour of some of fans due to the abused turning abuser?

Dyche being just the latest twisted addition to this malignant psychodrama.

I believe this to be true dear pal, and that the continual hysteria is at least subliminally enjoyed by those who shout loudest with their performative rage establishing themselves as the most super bloo amongst their peers.

We have labelled this phenomenon “tailwaggingthedogitis”.

I felt that Beto looked relieved and emotional from the anxiety on his performances as much as joyous yesterday. Pickford was having a barney at the gaffer, and word is that DCL isn't signing until Dyche leaves. Patterson has been frozen out. I think there's some bonding in the squad but I wouldn't say it's harmonious, I would doubt any professional sports team is mind. I do think they work for eachother.

Hope we sell Dom in January then.

If the feller could finish, he'd be alright.

I have seen one Dychette on here comparing a full season of Dyche to half a season of Carlo to try and make him look good. I kid you not.
He has his fan boys convinced that the highest aim we should have is avoiding relegation and we couldn't do it without him. Can't wait till Friedkin show him just how much they value his performance and ambition when the takeover is complete.

That's the trick mate, convince everyone that it's all about premiership survival and we should be content with that, if he finishes mid - table he's hailed as a miracle worker. It's a win win for Dyche.

Yeah don't disagree just expanding on your point really. Sometimes there's more to it than "Dyche bad" vs "Dyche good". This thread's a mess on both sides.

Without doubt, was a poxy performance yesterday, we have more, but you take the positives, its a point dug out and earned - that in all honesty we didn't deserve and should have been a loss.

Feels like a point won yesterday, rather then say a point gained at Leicester.

We've more players to come back to, i still feel Garner, Chermitti and Broja will have an influence.

I want as full a deck as possible heading into Dec/Jan.

Despite great form - we need to mind Young - hes going to fade at a point and he wont be able to do Weds/Sat.

I'm gonna be honest, and it's something @COYBL25 alluded to earlier, I hate watching us. It's miserable this year. I hope there's positive change with BMD. And new ownership.

Last season is over, done, most of us are judging him on what we are seeing so far this season, it isn't static football it changes, only as good as your last game etc

So well done Sean Dyche, you have lowered expectations lower than i thought possible to reach.

What a way for the Stadium that once hosted the School of Science to go out. Playing the most turgid insipid uninspiring football you could ever wish to see.

never envisaged this for our last season but here we are.

I think Fulham are really just the other side of the coin to us. We will both finish with similar points totals. However they play more progressive football and look easier on the eye. The reality is both sides are lower mid table teams.

It's reached the point where I dislike him more than most of our recent appointments, which is incredible really.

Why? He's got a squad that I honestly think could compete, in this league currently, top 10, top 8 even. Plus after helming us to survival in incredibly difficult circumstances over multiple seasons he would have a lot of good will towards him. We're not rabid in expectations. But he's limited, inflexible, baffling in his approach at times, and just 'kin obstinate.
But what really wicks me off, besides him being a walking cliche machine, is that he's constantly talking a good game, but there's rarely any evidence of it on the field.
Ultimately, he's getting on my ' kin nerves cos I think he's just full of it.
