2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

All the 'Blue Tick' morons on Twitter and Podcasters constantly spouting support for Dyche really dont help

That Benj is insufferable. Quite clearly too scared to have an honest opinion on Dyche in-case his Goodison backstage pass is revoked.

He posted something about Lampard the other day, quite clearly with the intention to make Dyche look better. But the thing is, Dyche should look better as he has more experience than Lampard and has a better team that Lampard did also.
I’ve joined the view the bullens and enjoy their pods and forum, to be fair to Ben he’s been a big dyche fan from day 1, not sure why and he constantly brings up Lampard in any discussion. Paul draper was also a dyche fan but he’s turned and wants him sacked, I also think the Bobble and Ste Kelly also have had enough of dyche now.

I think saying Lampard was up and coming is playing a bit fast and loose with the definition isn't it? Not hugely experienced granted, but up and coming generally suggests somebody, well, up and coming. Lampard wasn't really that.

You can probably say any manager that’s just starting out their career is up and coming tbh. Whether they eventually “come” is a different matter.

Lampard had the better team but a part of that is down to the fact no sane player wants to play for Dyche
Go back 2 seasons mate, yes in the end Lampard was a poor manager and should have gone pre World Cup( I wish he had as we may have got someone other than dyche) but Dyche being slightly better doesn’t make him a good manager.

Anyway back to 2 seasons ago. We also had 10 points after 11 games, but had played Liverpool , Utd and Chelsea at home , Villa, spurs and Newcastle away, Newcastle was game 11, DCL first game of that season, Rondon was the only fit striker first 5 then we got Maupay. Mina and Godfrey where injured first game, so the likes of Keane and holgate were getting plenty of games. Doucoure got injured 2nd game, Tom Davies was starting games and coming off the bench. Garner and Onana were 2 x 20yr old kids with no prem experience 🤣. Our wide options. McNeil, Gordon and gray. So I disagree mate, Lampard didn’t a better team 2 seasons ago
