2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Dyche has had the same number of sackings as the up and coming Frank Lampard and has suffered two more relegations.
I would hardly describe Lampard as up and coming.
I think it is more like down and going.

Lampard has achieved the sackings and relegation in a fraction of the time it took Dyche.

This is not a defence of Dyche just that it is a daft comparison.

Beto, Lindstrom and Chermiti are pretty useless. (Chermiti is young of course). I quite like Mangala but he hasn't done anything yet.

Realistically you are looking at Richarlison vs NDiaye. Other than that it's pretty much the same level of rubbishness, understandable seeing as we have not been able to spend freely.

Not really. I dont think Beto is useless tbh, he just hasn't ben given a good chance.

my point is at least Dyche has options.

When he took over us he was considered up and coming. Whether you think he is now isn’t the point, clearly he had a disastrous spell in charge of us. He also hasn’t been relegated so don’t know where you’ve got that from.

It’s not really a daft comparison though, one was a poor inexperienced manager and the other is a poor experienced manager.

That'd be a better group of wingers than our current ones!
Also missing the likes of Iwobi who would be our best midfielder now.
You sound like the echo pod after Fulham, making out Fulham were going for the title, iwobi is that good he ended up at Fulham. Because of injuries and inexperience iwobi was mainly in midfield. He wouldn’t play midfield for dyche, not a chance. And I’m no fan of McNeil, but I bet he has more goal contributions than iwobi in probably half the appearances.

So you think McNeil , gray ( who was garbage ) and a 20yr old Gordon. Is better than McNeil, ndaiye , Harrison and lindstrom?
Next you will be telling me holgate is better than Branthwaite

You’re on another planet, I said yesterday you’re a spinner, you spin every post it’s bizarre. The point was the likes of Lampard, Gerrard and Rooney will
Get jobs and higher end jobs because they’re well known world class players.

Not a lower league no mark like dyche or an unknown like potter. Dyche was managing Watford under 18’s then the 21’s and was then first team assistant, before getting the job

Sure thing mate! ;)

TBF Lampard was an up and coming manager. Short stint with Chelsea and Derby but that was all?

What relegation has Lampard seen?

Lampard also got to spend a

Better is not always better. You could swap Gray for either Mcneil or Harrison and this squad would have a bit more about it, same goes for Gordon obvs.

Is this the gray who got something like 2 goals in his last 50
Games. Harrison got 21 in 3 seasons at Leeds. There’s a reason Leicester sold him for 2mil and after 10 games the German side had seen enough

As I said, I don't think he's a better player per se, I just think he would offer something different out wide, as opposed to the work horse options of Mcneil and Harrison out there.

We could also do with a bit of pace.

i dont think he did. probably an argument either side but for me Dyche has the better option s in his first 15 players
The main differences are Lampard had Gordon, Gray, Godfrey, Mina, Iwobi, Onana.

Dyche has Young, Beto, Lindstrom, Harrison, Mangala and Ndiaye.

Can throw in Branthwaite as well I suppose but Lampard did have him and just chose to send him on loan. 4 of Lampards group went on to better sides, how many of the Dyches group will? 1?

Iwobi is so good he got a move to a better team for over 20 million, yes. And if Dyche wouldn't play him then that indicates that he really isn't a good manager.

Gray and Gordon were and are better wingers than Harrison, Lindstrom and Ndiaye yes. I like Ndiaye but for all the talk of his brilliance he's only scored 2 goals, no assists for the most toothless attack in the league. Gordon had 3 by this point in Lampards last season.

Well we had his pace for 2 yrs and Where did that get us. He’s atrocious, Harrison is a far better player, unfortunately dyche is playing him out of position
