2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Even with the deduction we were 14 points clear 😂

and yes, he improved us last season in terms of results and finishing position. Don’t think anyone has claimed he didn’t. He was lucky imo that he wasn’t sacked last season during that awful run as he would have been in previous years but ultimately it worked out,

He has then taken us backwards from there though and looks pretty clueless this season. And with the run of games coming up, and the way we have been playing, I have zero expectation he turns it round.

So just so I’m clear mate, we’re not relegation fodder, he’s improved us, but we’re relegation fodder again! 😂

I get you! ;)

I mean, we shouldn’t be based off the games we had to start the season and the fact we finished mid table last season.

We have been walked into a relegation fight under Dyche after he talked us down all summer and has basically said for months that the players are crap and he looks clueless about how to change it.

The OP was quite clear .

Last season the team under Dyche improved.

This season ( despite the squad being marginally stronger ) the team under Dyche has regressed and as a consequence is a strong candidate for relegation.

I have no idea why the Dychettes are being so obtuse and don't understand it.

Isn’t that the trajectory I just summarised, we were relegation fodder, he improved us, now we’re relegation fodder again! ;)

Aren’t we all saying the same thing! ;)

Might be scrotum heads last game if we get well and truly pumped.

One of the next few games will surely coincide with the approval of the takeover.

Let's hope they pull the trigger ASAP as this genuinely has the potential to be the worst month's results in our history. I reckon we could be as bad as 0 points and minus 15 goal difference in December.

Quite a few lads I drink with are similar to yourself, long term season ticket holders, but they’ve stopped going for all the reasons you mention above.

Most weekends in the pub, they’re offering their tickets around the pub, like they’ve always done when they couldn’t go.

The difference is now, no one wants them, not even the pub arlarse who’ll have anything for free.

Virtually to a man, they all say the same thing “ if we weren’t moving to a new stadium, I wouldn't be renewing again “

Many times over the years I’ve taken my own lad on the back of freebies c/o the lads from the pub, but now when he’s home from Uni, he’s saying to me “ what’s the point “.

The last few remaining of his supporters on here can defend him all the want, but to me when people are turning down free tickets due to knowing how bad the footy is going to be, before a ball is even kicked, sums up exactly what Dycheball has / is doing to our club.
Why he will get punted, the football don't get arse on seats. And he is not very good at what football style he professes to be good at.

Also examples of hypriocosy, the lastest being, no evidence player can perform in 10 role only to play him in role in match the topic came up pre match press conference! Again for the experienced manager he states he is, pretty rookie stuff creating this type of compromising headline.

Out of his depth and biggest job he will have. Very likely been mentioned before, Goodisons last season is covering drop off in regular match going fan, another reason crowd is going flat, besides football.

Really? My nephew has been on the waiting list for about 5 years. He's always after tickets. What pub is it mate? By weekends I assume you mean Friday night or Saturday day?

I also think other teams have sussed how to play against us, and adapt their tactics, which has had an impact.
Eg, let DCL go clean through no issue, get a player sent off no issue, give them a 2 goal head start and they’ll bottle it.

Unfortunately he hasn’t adapted our style or approach in any way, just rotated players to the same system in the game, hence we’re sliding down the table.

He’s been found out unfortunately.
