2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

As recently as August this year, Gana and Doucoure were also in this rotting core. They’re some of Dyche’s favourite buddies.

Coleman and Gomes were once members.

Likewise Delph and Iwobi.

Funny how it’s always all of the players even when all of the players change.
Lads are yous not bored

I dont doubt some who have a season ticket aren't going mate - but they will keep it up - with the hope of something better. But they have their ticket in the bag.

The last part of your post, is the point i was trying to make really, there is something more that prompts people to be a part of it then entertainment.
All we have is hope, it’s all we’ve had for years but it also kills you.

They are keeping it up for BMD and goodisons last season, not really the hope.

I’m still going cos I’ve already paid for my tickets, the kids are nagging me to keep going (just about tbh) and it’s Goodisons last season. Seeing mates is a bonus, but I would still arrange to see them without Everton being there.

it’s a stupid sense of loyalty/duty - that has been eroded and abused for decades by the club, and the dyche style footy will exacerbate the decline, as it was with Benitez.

I really don’t get your point here.

Do you think these players are good enough?

You want to keep them?

Let’s go into future seasons still with the team sheet reading Coleman Keane Gueye Docuoure? Or maybe it’s dead different now because it reads Young Tarkowski Gueye Doucoure instead?

We’re just swapping out different shades of the same rubbish. Why don’t you understand this?

No player has truly put their head over the quality parapet for us for a very long time except Lukaku, Pickford, James, perhaps Richarlison, everyone else is just throwing out different shades of average football, some might be better than others

It’s not a controversial opinion to say that recent squads of Everton players have all not been good enough, and that this is a problem

I know you’d prefer to lay everything that’s ever happened in the history of human existence at Dyche’s door but I hate to break the news to you that if we give a new manager a load of average to poor players as well then the results will be poor just like they have been for 30 years at Everton give or take the odd exceptions.

We know the squad needs improving but do you honestly think that the squad is getting maximized by Dyche?

Can each player not do better with the quality they have?

Can the team not function better wit this current squad?

The answer is yes they can as we've seen it in the players and the team (2 or 3 games a season were we play very well) , the problem is he cant get consistency from either due to his style and tactics.

Its the same with UTD now watch them fly up the league now they have a competent manager with the same players.

I’m still chuckling at this comment:
We all like Ndiaye but is he as good as prime focussed Gordon

When did Prime focussed Gordon play for us? He scored 7 in 86 games. Ndiaye has 3 in 14 already.

I am, every single time I go to Goodison, boring mind numbing tedium.
We've endured some truly dreadful football over the past decade, but somehow Dyche has managed to serve up something even worse.

There’s no way the players enjoy playing like this—it’s insulting to them. I’m not even asking for possession-based football, just a counter-attacking approach with some purpose. We saw glimpses of it at the start of Dyche's tenure, so what’s changed?
