2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Excited to see where this proper manager ends up.

Never at a bigger club, or paid more than his current gig.

But couldn't care less where he ends up.

I'm interested in whoever replaces him, and how they're going to get goals from this team to take us away from repetitive relegation fights.

My prediction is £200m+ transfer spend over the next 2 transfer windows, if PSR (stadium shenanigans/sponsorship?) allows.

I care where he ends up. I’ve been told on here that he’s the best we could’ve hoped for over the past few years and has overachieved, and that he overachieved with Burnley, didn’t get them relegated, would’ve kept them up if he wasn’t sacked etc etc. so I expect a manager with such a fantastic track record to be in demand and end up at another Premier League club in the near future.

Yeh, nah.

You chose a very flattering image to go with, mate.

Personally, I would have gone with...
D'OH.webp

#D'OH!

You, since he does kind of bear a similar resemblance to Homer Simpson. 🤷‍♂️

Indeed - Bielsa jibbed us. Potter jibbed Leicester in the summer because of a potential point deduction coming. He'll attract jobs from other Premier League relegation fodder. Or teams aiming for promotion who'll quickly become, relegation fodder.

Yeh, nah.

New owners will have to put money in - and they'll know it.

Dychettes, f’ me how old are you lad?

I’ve constantly said I hope he’s punted into the sun, doesn’t make the squad any less crap.

Are you incapable of separating the two? No arguing with stupid.

We were all told he was a manager that could work with crap players. If he can’t then what a shame, sack him and get someone that can.

@SuperKev91 loves a goal post move
Explain that one to me?

How does money we spent 5/6 years ago (and money we spent terribly) help our current playing squad? Especially in comparison to all the clubs above us?

Explain how this squad, assembled with used scratchcards, Klarna and calling in favours can compare with clubs that have spent 150m+ net in the last 2/3 years?

We’ve got a negative spend over the last 5 years, the ones we’ve sold we’ve replaced with what exactly?!

Our starting right back plays his son in January for [Poor language removed] sakes.

Cool, excited to see how that one pans out. Pulis, Allardyce and Mark Hughes stopped attracting interest from relegation fodder eventually so let’s hope Dyche has a bit more to offer than them.

Not debating that, please bingo him asap - seriously dislike the guy.

Think he did well when he first came in, was a necessary evil. He’s outstayed whatever welcome he had by far.
