2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Which “best” players has Sean Dyche lost mate, really interested to hear this.

Also, if he’s reduced wages then why did he give a 31 year old Abdoulaye Doucoure a £20k a week pay increase

Onnana was our most saleable assist. Sold.
8 players shifted out for EU88m
8 players bought in for EU50

Year Before
11 players out EU80 m
5 players in EU40

Whether they are the best players is arguable, but the squad has not been strengthened during his tenure. PLayers are traded for accounting purposes and not sporting reasons

Re Dacoure- cheaper to pay the extra wage than to replace him. Accounting reasons again.

Is this too complicated for you to recognise?

All of this would be perfectly reasonable, if the guy in question hadn't been in professional football management since 2007.

That's 17 wasted years before the dropping of that lucky penny.

Whilst I get your point.

Whatever way you look at it, he's never once claimed to be a fantastic manager wholl push for leagues.

So aim low, achieve high? 17 years a manager, and managed to get Burnley secure in the league on a shoestring?

Can't say I'm thrilled with how he's handled himself of late, but I'm certainly that he'll have a fairly good counter argument for any moaners.

That's not me defending him, more stating that I don't think he'll be upset at his record and I bet he'll have a queue of people desperate for him when we eventually sack him

The Dyche supporters, along with Dyche himself, didn’t seem to rate him so 0 point bringing him up. Onana literally got slagged off weekly.

Oh ok, the Onana that Dyche didn't want, that Onana??? Ok. Sound, i'll leave him off the list

So out of al the "best players" he lost in summer, which of the below do you think was his best?? The one that really turned games for us, creating and scoring goals???

Ben Godfrey
Lewis Dobbin
Neal Maupay
Andy Lonerga
Mason Holgate
André Gomes
Dele Alli
Arnaut Danjuma

Alex Iwobi is left off that and he walks into this Everton side

So you want to argue we strengthen the squad every season?

I bet he won’t. Excited to see how that one plays out.
