2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

My man 🤣.

Sack him tomorrow and I’d be delighted.

Why are you all defending these players as well though ffs?!

Are your heads that much in the sand that they’re crap as well?

Dyche is abysmal, please let me say that again, I dislike him as a bloke as well and the ‘football’ is turgid.

But the players can also be crap as well you know? Who are you even defending ffs? There’s genuinely only Pickford I actually properly like, and branthwaite. Ndiaye is too early doors.
Who is defending the players? Suggesting another manager gets more out of them is hardly defending them.

I’d be pretty confident they’d revert to the median, probably mid table. Nuno is doing a great job.

I can quite confidently say, he’d play the exact same way as he’s got our team playing now, exactly the same as he had Burnley playing for his entire time there, as he only has one way of playing, or more better known as THE SEAN DYCHE MASTERCLASS.

I`ve already replied to this via another post... This team is good enough for 12th-14th IMO maybe more if we over achieve...

Dyche does nothing to get the best out of these! Name a player he has ever improved?

He is negative in every aspect and that needs driving out with a fresh positive mentality. Dyche is a loser, always has been and always will be...

WBs are up and down are they not? Push on with the ball, but narrow in without, again just an opinion, but my general po8nt was that Dyche does not try anything. What would you do?
I wouldn't run Patterson and Young into the ground 'up and down' for 90 minutes because they'll die.

We could use an Arteta type that can do a bit with the ball and from set pieces with some sort of % accuracy and % completion rate. In the main our corners and freekicks are going to waste. As it's our most telling source of attack, we've doomed ourselves. McNeil can do a bit and if he had half a right foot he'd be amazing, but it's not to be. Ndiaye is hamstrung babysitting LB (Myko). And the less said about Johnny Bravo... I mean Jack Harrison the better.

We've a side made up of to many different pieces. We don't excel really anywhere outfield. The complaints about being so poor are because of this, you can't get a tune out of a busted piano. The novelty of playing the spoons for a bit instead has worn off and the crowd are saying "off the stage!".

A piecemeal side containing to much dirge and expectations of silky attacking football. What could go wrong!

Why you banging on about absent owners? In what way?
You wont hear from the Friedkins or any communications from the group or even the chairman and this manager will be allowed to carry on regardless, they have no plans to sack him, he is here till whenever HE decides.

Would not be surprised if Dyche got a 1 year extension, that is how confident I think we`ve been sold down the river by these BS yanks.

They say actions speak louder than words, they`ve said nothing and done nothing aswell....

Clearly it does as they were in a relegation battling team under Cooper?!
Ffs ignoring who the manager is, go player for player through both squads.

Tell me what underused talents we’ve got that are going to spring into life under a new manager.

If we did a combined starting 11 yesterday and you’re completely honest - disregarding any managers whatsoever - only Pickford and Branthwaite get in their team yesterday.

We aren’t chock full of talented young players who are underperforming.

Anderson, Milenkovic, Sosa to name three that starred yesterday and arrived in the summer.

But if you don’t rate Murillo, Gibbs-White etc then I dunno what to tell you.
Apart from Anderson who was a PSR con, how much do you think Milenkovic, Sosa and Morata cost?

People speaking about how we can’t compete etc due to net spend, those 3 players cost circa £30m altogether.

We spent £17m on O’Brien who Dyche won’t play.

So what formation would you use?

Quality recruitment, something we’ve lacked since Moshiri joined.

17m on O’Brien is quite clearly down to payment terms with that basket case Textor. I’m not sure we’ll have paid anything up front.

People forget how close to the sun we came here. There’s still rumours someone has to go in January for PSR.

What I will say about Dyche is that he got it all wrong yesterday.

If his idea was truly to play quickly, then having Harrison and Doucoure on the pitch does not match with that goal.

If you wanted to play quickly or direct, then two strikers would have been a logical start.

Playing direct with one striker and no one within 25 yards of him is a tired tale.

It's one thing if important players make a mistake or two, you can't account for for that.

But the two players out to lunch on the two goals have been like this for the majority of the season (Tarkowski and Doucoure). Not addressing that is directly affecting our points total.

The squad sucks so it's not as if he has a ton of options and is picking the wrong ones. He has 1-2 options and is still picking the wrong ones.

Your point appears to have completely changed. You’ve now started comparing our squad to Forest’s again for some odd reason, when the comparison was supposed to be the same squad of Forest players under Steve Cooper and Nuno, and how all of those same players just magically became better under a new manager. I’m not sure what that’s got to do with us, it’s an example of a manager taking over a squad of players and instantly making them better at football through better coaching methods.
